where's Matt in Vegas? count me in as a Denver fan.. john that is, not the town.... give me the People's Republic of Boulder or Englewood... I first heard How Mountain Girls Can Love on Autograph in ... was it 79? my e-mail starts with "mtngirlcanlove"
well not big into him.. but occasionally i find my self throwing a jd record on while doing some artwork.. that analog sound just cant be beat
i recently came across all of his albums on vinyl for $3 at a garage sale. i wouldnt call myself an avid fan by any means, but i do find myself listening to john denver occasionally.
sure I like his music, some people laugh, but screw em. We listened to him for part of a road trip out to Colorado and now I associate his music with that fabulous time.
I'm not a huge fan. But John Denver is cool. I find he's music relaxing in a stressful world. When I lived in Denver I use to listen to him all the time. When I listen to him now, I am reminded of my time in Denver.
I listened to my dad's old john denver albums, and I liked some of them. They've got an easy laid back theme about anything you'd hear on the radio.
