And they were welcomed at Jesus' birth. And they gave him valuable gifts that later went towards rabbinical education. Think about it.
Regardless of sect taxonomies, one can do worse than simply feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, and visiting the sick and in prison, without asking anything in return.
