    The History is AWESOME!

as far as your choice of colour vs black & white. i say black & white. there seems to be more depth in greyscale than in just normal colour.

it is cute. very cute sneakers btw. :)

black and white seems to always add so much depth in photography. it's strange a bit cause i'm not into black and white telly or movies really, in those formats it seems if it's not in colour it's completely lacking something. but when it comes to photographic images i am always more personally inclined to favor the black and white image over a colour one. there just seems to be a lot more subtle nuance in a black and white image than there is in just a colour snap. even between the two pictures you posted the black and white one seems to be so much richer in contrast of textures even though it is exactly the same as the coloured image above it.

but anyway. i'm repeating myself. ^_^

I completely here you. I never used to do coloured photography at all, but I'm trying to get better at it, as it is something I will need to be able to do career wise later on in life.
I think the thing (for me anways) with black and white, is you don't get distracted by the colours, you simply see the shape, see what's really there, and not the colours which can be over whelming and completely distracting. :)
