Japanese music is pretty good, those guys are way ahead of us over there! But thats a huge generalisation, I'm talking about the electronica and breakbeat stuff which has been flowing out of there for a decade! I love it! But its hard to find out about artists, anyone know any I should try? Obviously not the pretty well known ones, Mad Capsule Markets, Cornelius etc, Heard them!
    I'm loving it

i'm fairly sure four tet is not japanese, he didnt speak when i saw him, but definately not a japanese face...and his name is kieran hebden...

i dont really know enough about what you're looking for to be recomending you anything but nobukazu takemura has some nice work if you've not heard him...child and magic is a pretty good record

:) Cheers for the recommendations, tried some of the Melt Banana but it was a little bit too much like locust for my liking! But it has its own charms all the same. Now getting some Nobukazu bootlegs, looking forward!

If any of you stumble across some Denki Groove, thats pretty good also!
