Hey all So i'm about 2 months in to backcomb/natural dreading. I backcombed at first and ended up losing all the ones i did. So i've been doing neglect for a month and a half now and it's going great here are just a few pictures of what has been going on so far

Also, to answer the questions asked earlier:

My mom knows i smoke ganja hah she doesnt mind it, she said its something that comes in a normal life if you experience it and like it, there's no reason to stop something you enjoy doing even if its not a "good" thing. She understands it though haha.

And my mom supports my hair, the first time i saw her with them she said she wants to see how they turn out and quite possibly put an ornament on it saying "I love my mom" hahaha

Hope i didnt forget anyone's question but yeah, i'm enjoying the journey and its so much fun being out and just experiencing how society looks at a "dreadhead"

Thanks! 2 months in so far and i'm starting to notice a lot more knotting and plus i've gotten my dread beanie which i've been wearing all week and it looks like it's helping a whole lot.

Yeah i love her to death she's very understanding which made my dread journey so much more exciting. She wants to decorate them when they mature

 

I was just asking because of your previous concerns about dreading and your parents. It's awesome when parentals understand that we can still be good people/children even if we do things a little differently than they do. But decorating them... are you going to let her?
