and it feels so good. i used to run and stopped for almost a year and im getting back to it now, FINALLY! its hard for me to stick to things so im proud of myself for going back to something that makes me feel great. hopefully, ill continue this and not give up! go alex!

I wanna pick up running again. That first months a pain in the ass but after that you get that nice little buzz afterword. I remember I used to run with an unlit cig in my mouth just to be a smartass
I usually run for 20 mins, just to get my heart rate up and to break a sweat. Its very invigourating but sometimes I just cant be bothered.
I'm training for my first triathlon in July. It's a small one, 300 meter swim, 12 mile bike and 3.1 mile run. The swimming had me worried a bit it's 12 lengths in a pool and after a month of swimming I actually look forward to doing laps. The bike is a good workout that I do 3 times a week. And for the run it's amazing how much harder it is to run after you've been biking, your legs feel like concrete. Anyways I've dropped 14 pounds so far training for this thing and I feel really good. I think more people should get off their asses and exercise some but they always have exscuses and then complain how fat they are etc...
i'm kinda doign the same thing, but the event is in september. only problem i had knee surgery less than a month ago, so...hopefully i can get training.
I need to start running again - I love running, but often I'm damn lazy to go out running. I need to go for a run now (whether I actually do it is another question).
That's great! I adore running, I've been a runner since the 1st grade. Can't do without it. I'm going to run a marathon soon, I've done 3 half marathons. During my run is the only time I'm guaranteed to be happy. Get good shoes and take it easy to start, injuries are sooo frustrating.
