that they will fight to the death over any tiny little thing. for example, this morning kai colored a picture for her friend emily. joey thought it was beautiful and wanted it. so they fought, mean mean mean. i know this thing isn't going to end until joey gets the picture, sees that kai is sad and gives it back. i've tried to explain it to kai, but kai's pride gets in the way. so i took if from kai, handed it to joey. kai was crying, and joey was telling me what a good job kai did. THEN joey heard kai crying. joey said "kai's really sad." i said "yes, she wants her picture back." so joey gave the picture back. all that riot over in less than a minute. sheesh.
6 and 2. i try to explain to my older daughter about joye not understand what the hell she's saying, that she just wants to fight. but then, so does kai. they come by it honestly. they get so involved in "winning" that it never ends.
sounds exactly like my sister and I... we're four years apart just like joey and kai.... the fun is only starting...
wow. I remember what thats like. My sister and I are 4 years apart too and I remember all the fights. She was so mean. We became so close and now we get along great for the most part. happy going crazy.
my baby sis is 10 years younger than me. we didn't really have that sort of relationship. i was more mommy-like. but we're really close now.
Having a sister doesnt stop them hitting you. My mom beat her, my mom beat me, and then my sister hit me because my mom hit her. yeah, it was fun.
If you and your kids solved this little drama in less than a minute you have some well raised children.
be glad your daughters are still young..my daughters are 15 and 12 and now boys are coming into the picture more and more..I don't like it at all. ugg
