I've had it with people telling me "this works and that works" FUCK THAT. VM&P Naphtha is USELESS as a solvent. There are bi-products in the final product. WASTED MONEY I DON'T HAVE ON THIS ENTIRE EXTRACTION. Use Ronsonol, the end. Also, A razor blade DOES NOT work to get crystals off of an average glass pan. You had better get an absolutely PERFECTLY straight lab-certified piece of equipment if you think you're going to dry anything in there. Annoys the piss out of me that I have crystals all over and I can't do a goddamn thing about it. Shit takes WAY too long to dry, even with a blow-dryer. (this is just me complaining) If anyone has answers for my complaining feel free to share =P
I just have to say that this is a ridiculous {{{ VM&P Naptha blah blah))) Different solvents are suitable for differing extractions..... If you think Ronsonol is cleaner than (1) take a couple ounces and dry out on a clean white saucer and look for residue.... (2).... There are teks all over the net that say that VM&P is to be used NOT Ronsinol...... BTW, why would you bother extracting DXM when you can just buy the bulk chemical legally and with pharma grade purity????? Do some real research before making such unsubstantiated claims mmmmkay?????????????
Uh, no. I was just pissed off and ranting. It was a bad day. I know VM&P is 'cleaner' than Ronsonol, but Ronsonol has PROVEN itself to be a better solvent. VM&P leaves bi-products. At least in a DXM extraction, which is confusing. And yeah, you can't just google DXM and buy it in bulk. It's not easy to find, like RC's aren't easy to find. So I'm going to take this crystals/goo thing I have going on and add some hydrochloric acid. Hopefully that'll get everything off the damn container and make DXM HCl. Which I'll then dry. =/
