I've experienced this many times but last night was the first time in ages. I'm just nodding off and I start smiling. I feel really happy. I can't see or hear anyone else but I keep laughing. I'm talking but I don't understand what I am taking about. It's not another language, it's just double-dutch. I don't take drugs and I am pretty sure I'm not schizophrenic. Am I causing any stroking of chins? Analyse that.
I've had a couple of experiences where I started mumbling as I drift off, and the sound of it woke me back up. Anything on your mind lately?
Imy,I wake myself up talking to myself.Sleep talking is quite common isn't it? As far as I know I've never slept walked. Ami,I have lots of things on my mind but nothing to worry about. Think I am approaching the menopause. Menopausle Mania
^ i don't know how common it is. i've never personally witnessed it, although i have witnessed sleep walking. i wake myself up snoring occasionally. nobody has ever told me that i snore, so i'm just assuming that i wake myself up every time it happens.
Last night, I was trying to explain to Jane that I had gone downstairs to feed the cat and he had turned into a fox. I then explained that while I was putting his food into a bowl he had now turned into a miniature pig. At that point Jane had heard enough and woke me up. If you can work that one out, you are cleverer than me.
