Its that time again.

I gotta report to the ship tonight. We pull out in the morning. I imagine I will be able to come play with you all still, at least a little. I usually can.

Have a good ...um, what do they call it?......a good shipment or deployment, whatever it is called! How long will you be gone?

 

I forget exactly but about a month, i am pretty sure I will be back by july 21...oh and we call it deployment.

 

One of my sister's closest friends just got married about a week ago and her new husband is being deployed in August for 3 years. I couldn't imagine that!

 

wow....I will only do the next month and then september through march/april time frame.....not 3 years combat I hope?

I'm not sure. She didn't really say. She looked as though she was ready to cry when she was talking about it. I felt bad for her.

well hopefully he just got overseas orders that were unaccompanied (cant bring family). it wont make her miss him any less or he her, but it should keep him away from flying bullets and suicide bombers if he is in germany or england or somewhere like that.

just doing donuts in the atlantic... we will prolly be bombing somewhere..training not combat...but since they closed the range in puerto rico I dont know where we do it anymore. we were gonna pull into florida on the 4th of July but I hear that is canked...oh well its only a month.....and the rocking of the ocean makes sleep so easy and deep.
