Not to be mean, but this is what M4N14C42O was talking about... I suggest you provide more information, and your thought on the subject before you post a link that makes you wait 25 seconds to view. And a more desciptive thread title. Thanks.
Disney and Pixar have both said that they will be only recording in Blu-Ray format... making dvd players virtually obsolete in the very near future
I disagree Freedom. This is a pertinent thread, especially with the number of techies around here. good to see you around sour been awhile. Might as well go buy me a PS3 so I have me a blu-ray player
i have decided that i am never going to buy a blu-ray or hdDVD.... or HDtv with technology coming out the way it is, there is no way to keep up with it unless your rich.
I'm going to be very curious to see what happens when all tv broadcasts go digital in one year. Although I'm currently on an anti-TV kick. I can count the number of hours I've watched tv in the last 5 weeks on one hand (movies included). Its an amazing feeling. I used to have the TV on all the time I was, usually muted with a show playing on the stereo. well now I just have the show on and I read a book for entertainment. I feel so much healthier in the mind. I love it. Everyone should try it.
Yea i don't watch tv eather and i feel pretty good. I mean everything thats on tv these days are reality shows.
i agree on the disagree. though this is old news. since im a gamer i do visit gaming forums, and for months theres been constant small achievements from blueray, now its just so big that thats it - hd dvd has failed. this also brings me to the 360vsps3 thing, i remember how it was said how sony failed with the console, constant m$ bashing towards the ps3 etc, if you google it up you will find recent months ps3 has been OUTselling the 360, guess the shit finally hit the fan.
anyone play MOH:AA? That shit is my game. Its almost dead now. And I cant get airborne to work on my laptop.
For future reference and the good of mankind, those kinds of ads have a skip button 99% of the time. I guess I should have figured that a format that makes consumers buy their whole movie collection again would be a hit with the entertainment industry.
the format war was over as soon as Universal jumped in bed with blu ray. haha such a good point. I wonder if there is some way to spite them and watch all the new movies coming out but not pay for anything blu ray. hmm..
Are you fucking serious man? Hes been here for 2 years. youve been here for two months. The stupid threads are the ones like your brother is starting (no offense to you, i like your threads). But i mean, your brother asks a question which is completly opinion, to people he dosent know, that have been made a million times, and dosent even listen to people advice. That and all the other duplicate threads of "whats your favorite movie high" or "whats the highest you have ever been". Thanks you the link though. My parents dropped like 300 on an HD DVD this summer. Lol. This sucks.
 I forgot all about minidisks. Those were the most pointless things ever. It was just like "lets go from the new advanced cd's backwards to a casette thats we give a new name" "yeah that will make us more money." Im just waiting for CDs to come out in jump drives. They are so cheap to make at this point. Then the industry will also be able to control how many times you can upload to a computer. Also then you will just be able to plug it into your ipod without actually loading it on through your computer. And laptops will be so much thinner without the need for a CD drive like the air. They will just need a few USBS. Man im pumped for that.
