It seems that when I smoke, my eyes get really tired, heavy-feeling, and foggy. I usually end up taking my contacts out and putting on my glasses when this happens, but my eyes still seem really tired and drained. Does this happen to anyone else? I wonder if it has to do with the whole making your eyes bloodshot thing. I didn't know if there was a connection or not.
what i'd do is for now on, either put visine Long Lasting Relief in b 4 u smoke, or just put your glasses on when you're smokin.
Yea thats y ur eyes are red cause there dry dont contacts make ur eyes dry in the first place? if so i wouldnt were em when smokeing cause they would get super dry
yea dude just use the drops that come with your contacts, NOT the cleaning solution....unless you wanna give some people a good laugh
After a few days of chronic smoking, my eyes become emmune to this sort of thing. I reccomend Visine though, my friedn has it and it works very well.
theyre not red caus theyre dry, your eyes are MEANT to go glassy - glassy beign teh effect of moisture being retained in the wall of the eye; if they go dry (which would lead them to sting and be less shiny) then theres something going wrong besides the weed. they go red because the weed makes the blood vessels relax and therefor expand from the blood flow. one of the problems some people have with visine is that it gets rid of the reddness but not teh glassiness. if youve tried drops for dry eyes compared to red eye formula, youll find the former doesnt work properly.
I only wear my glasses occasionally, for long distance seeing. But when I'm high, I find I just can't stand to wear them, I'd rather see the world naturally. I'll wear them right when I go outside to smoke, so I can have a look around, see if anyone's watching me (i tend to need them more when it's dark, and I usually smoke at night). But after that, they come off. I find weed seems to make my nose/sinuses get stuffy, not sure why. I've always had a problem with that (weed or not), so maybe the smoke is just irritating it more. But my eyes are usually fine. That is, the heavy, droopy eyelid thing just seems part of the weed experience so I never gave it any thought (except once when it was extreme, but I was real tired that time).
