isnt it sad how many profiles are on here of peoplel last logged few years ago. What happened to them.... i know u dont know but stil it makes me sad.
yep. I guess that most just got bored with the site, had other interests, etc. my guess is that there are probably a few out there that have died, but no one has told us about it.
nonnooo stoooop :O died? it really makes me wanna cry, why did i get so emotonal bout this. but its saad isnt it;(((
oh, yeah undies is probably right about many being banned. also the one posters there's a thread about folks who have passed on. if you know someone irl who also posts here, they can post on the thread. my guess is that is not the case for most folks here. I like staying anonymous, so I haven't told anyone that I post here. when the time comes, no one will know that I've gone.
well ok, creepy and sad, but it probably be a very long time from now i'd post the thread link, but I can't find it
I Often Have The Same Thoughts Cali, I Don't Check Out The Birthdays Listing Every Day, But Quite Often You See Someone Who Is In Their 70s Or 80s, And When You Check Their Profile And Their Last Log In You Have To Wonder What Happened.... A Lot Of Members Really Hit This Place Big Time, Then Get Throughly Sick Of It, And Move On, Some Come Back, The Majority Don't, And This Is Why If Somebody, Or Something On Here Gets "Up My Nose" I Simply Stay Away For A Few Days And Imerse Myself Elsewere, That Way HFs Remain Fresh.... Cheers Glen.
It's Listed Under "Site Announcements", Top Of The Page " Those Members Who've Passed On".... Cheers Glen.
I last logged in a few years ago. I died but was resurrected....muahaHAHAHA. Well, I actually hadn't been on for awhile, then forgot my password (as I am apt to do), lost my associated email account (as I am also apt to do). Came back & had to to accept that I'd lost my first & original account So I moved on & made this one. Perhaps something like this happened to a small percentage of accounts?
I live... again! But seriously, you can look at it from the other side as well: it's really amazing some weirdo's have been on this forum for more than 5 years. Damn, what a consistency they must have. Or they just don't have lifes indeed Yeah, both posters and forums come and go. It can feel just strange you can see who was active posting here years ago and look at their holiday and festival pics and old posts while not knowing what that person is up to nowadays. They could be on the stormfront website now hahaa jk
There are many people from the golden age still posting, under different names. Or, at least, that's what I've heard.
I was just thinking about this. A couple of people that I talked to the most on here were pretty frequent, prolific posters. Then one day they just stopped coming here and never came back. I guess some people get busy, or sick of it, or maybe it's just as simple as they lose their internet access.
thanks for the tip, glen here's the thread link http://www.hipforums.com/newforums/showthread.php?t=140976 contemplating another person's or one's own mortality can be a bit of a downer, but it can help you change the way you live your life so that it's consistent with the inevitable. better to think about death than to be oblivious to it and find in your last moments that you would have lived life differently if you had considered it would one day end
Some on my friends list have just gone away . There have been some that I miss quite a bit. MamaKcita and Toolmaggot were really good posters and I miss their contributions a lot. I guess I'll just disappear one day into my little underground condo!
