    Girls, please!

STOP FRYING YOUR SKIN AND DIETING SO MUCH!

Your burnt-skinned, anorexic look is NOT sexy. I repeat, NOT SEXY.

Take care your skin. You'll be glad you did. If you want a tan (which I do like), go lightly.

    And for fuck's sake... EAT!!!!

Put on some weight. Eat healthy and exercise.

Don't follow the "Cute-to-Skank" path of Britney, Christina, Brittany Murphy, Renee Zellweger, Hilary Duff...etc...etc.

And stop wearing so much goddamn make-up. Shit.

We want to see your face, not Bozo the Clown.

All in all, don't trade your "girl next door" look for the "whore on the corner" look.

Just my opinion. So fire away.

Hmmm, actually, I think that's a pretty good opinion really. It's refreshing to see guys say things like that. Breaks that spell the media likes to cast over women to make them feel worthless and inadequate.

    I agree with that.

I would much rather be with an intelligent, healthy and sexy woman than a burnt skeleton.

The whole burnt anorexic look really just turns me O-F-F.

    Agreed.

    The skin'n'bones look is gross.

    Pamela-Anderson-style make up is gross.

And the so-tanned-you-look-painted-brown look is laughable, I usually see it on 50-something women, or at least they LOOK 50-something, due to the wrinkles....

Indeed. I think these people (provided they don't all die of skin cancer) will look back at this later on and think "What the fuck was I thinking?!?" much like people do now about 80's fashion. :)

Again, Lib, I'm going to have to throw my chips in with you.

Personally I'm not that much of a fan of the tan, and definitely not a fan of someone who is skinnier than I am (because, hey, I'm pretty skinny, not by choice).

I think a summer glow looks healthy, it makes me feel healthier for some reason. But yeah, what's with the gross trend where everyone looks like an oompa loompa that had a run in with a vat of peroxide? Paris Hilton stylee. Sorry but she majorly creeps me out. And yet i can't look away..

You shouldn't have a summer glow if it's not summer and you live in a cold climate area :-/

OK, i agree about the make-up and about the tan.

But the skinny thing is what gets me. I have always been thin and have always had a high motabolism. I eat like a pig and never gain weight. But people constantly tell me to eat and it pisses me off - BAD!!!! I eat all the time and yet just because I am thin people assume that I don't eat or that I starve myself!!! FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean really, think about it. What if you were thin and had no way of controlling that; then everyone around you always says "you need to eat something" or "damn, do you ever eat" Wouldn't that piss you off?
So I guess my point is that not everyone that is thin chooses to be; same with people who are bigger!

    Ok....... :) *Hugs to all*

Ya but it's such a stereo type from people that if you are thin then you are labeled as "skinny", "non-eater", or a "crack head". i hate it! I am sure it's not easy being a thin guy either but I just think people should think twice before they say such things to people who are thin! I do eat...alot! And so what if I am thin, i am who am and that's all I can be! :)

I get rather annoyed when people assume that I diet and over-exercise to be as skinny as I am. In fact, my mother was very petite when she was my age, and my niece is also small-framed... it's in our genes. I was born that way and have tried in the past to put on a few... but I can't at all. It's unfortunate that people assume me to be going out of my way to stay slim. As for the overly tanned, overly bleached blonde look, yeah I agree that it's overdone. Truth is, there are lots of unhappy people out there who feel they have nothing else to offer to society but their appearance. It's very sad... and the media doesn't help by airbrushing every magazine image to impossible perfection. However, it's also up to the individual to search deep within themselves and find their true unique beauty, and sway away from society's exaggerated expectations of "pretty".

I know how you feel man. I've been slim all my life, just as my mum was at my age and just as my niece is now. Not all skinny people choose to be skinny. I also eat like a pig and can't gain a pound! It's rather frustrating when people point and accuse me of not eating or trying too hard to look skinny... I don't try at all! It's a double-sided coin. There are those who struggle to gain weight, and those who struggle to lose it. I say, if you're truly happy with your body and you carry yourself well, then that's what matters.

In my opinion, sexy is about how you feel, not how you look. The typical image of sexy doesn't necessarily make someone truly sexy. Sexy is in one's attitude.
