Hey man, welcome back to the forums. I never knew you were a co-founder of Beautiful Days and Glastonbury! Salstock was on hiatus for a couple of years, but we'll have to have a Salstock 2007 and 2008 when I'm home next year....

I have changed in personality I think, I'm more assertive than before, plus i have piercings and tattoos and done other things i thought i'd never do.

I've grown up *a manly tear streams down my cheek*

And yes sal i AM a founding member of Beautiful Days and Glastonbury... didn't you know? lol.

As for Salstock, i think it should be sponsored by Dan-ales, the biggest supplier of beer and flavoured spirits in north suffolk. Who incidently organises the event now known as DANFEST

hey jon, i got your pm.. hope your well.

    A final...
Hello to Pheonix_indigo and all you new people!

Afraid not, for number of reasons:

    1. I'm unemployed, couldn't afford a ticket if i wanted
    2. for same reason above can't afford train even if i wanted to work at a festival
    3. Wanted to go to some local festivals round here that kinda overlap BD etc.
    4. After about 5 years of continuously going to festivals each year, thought about taking a break.

Next year tho, more than likely i'll go to them all! (if i have about £2000 for all the tickets and travel lol)

That's a shame:( Would be good to see you somewhere, Danny!

As mentioned elsewhere if you work BDs you get paid £30 which should cover some of the train fare and you can do extra paid shifts, I made a small profit last year, Jonny worked 18 hours straight at one point and came out of it a rich but weary man... you can do extra paid work at BGG too. At least consider it:)

I'd do work at BD but thing is to get to exeter, weston supermare or glastonbury, i'd need money to get there, let alone work. ok i'd get the money back but i physically can't get to these places to start with.

Its about a £70 train ticket to anywhere from east anglia... cos east anglia is like the arse of great britain.

Hopefully i'll have a job by time tickets come out and i'll be able to just buy a ticket and go! (i'm not spending more than £100 on a ticket so glasto is out!)

Why don't you drive your car.. won't cost as much in petrol and you could give lifts and get petrol money
