Is Wearing A Penis Ring During Intercourse Safe?

I use penis rings (stainless steel) occassionally, but not during intercourse.
Have you worn ,or you know someone who does wear them during intercourse that has either had or hasn't had any problems with damage ( broken blood vessels etc) to the penis ?
I have 2 sizes I can wear : one that fits perfectly (with an inside diameter of 40mm) when ererct & another one (34mm) which is slightly tighter fitting when erect. I have had more powerful orgasms since I started using them fitted when masturbating.
I don't want to risk damaging myself thou - I realise a ring makes the penis much harder ! So thats why I need your opinion / experiences you have had first, before I even attempt intercourse while wearing one!

Generally after a while it gets uncomfortable and I take it off. Never used a metal one.

From what I read, cock rings shouldnt be worn too long. Their purpose is to cut off blood flow for awhile, too much blood lose could cause catastrophic problems.

Mine are not the genuine cockrings you buy in sex shops , but are just as effective & you wouldn't know they are substituted for the real ones. They look exactly the same & are made of stainless steel. Mine were bought for using as cockrings & also for cock & balls use. Yes, 40mm is just a perfect size to wear on the cock (with aid of lube for easier fitting) but they can be worn around the cock & balls when not erect & erect but tend to be just comfortable enough. I wouldn't attempt using a smaller one for this thou.
No, I don't consider my cock to be big - just a perfect size for fitting into a 40 mm (inside diameter) cock ring. They actually were cheaper than a real cock ring & cum (excuse the pun LOL) in a pack of 2. That is the largest size these stainlees rings appear to be made in by the manufacturer? But yes, a 45 mm one would be suitable one to - if they make them?
I found that rubber rings have a tendancy to weaken after certain usages & decided to by something that would last for many years of use.

 

I wear them sometimes, steel ones or rubber (silicone)ones. If you can't figure out what's too tight during masterbation then you shouldn't wear them.
