Is this the new sarcasism

    Is it the "in" thing if you want to be sarcastic to someone to ask "Are you okay?" Like I will have the rudest customers ask me that. It's always when someone wants to be sarcastic.

    yeah, it is. I work in a kitchen. Huge stress environment. Almost everynight someone blows their top. I ran my first kitchen when i was 19, when ever anyone went off I would siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh and say "are you okay?" or "dooooont stress" in an overly calm overly nice manner, at the time i saw it as controling my staff in the nicest way possible. Now i know it's like a passive-aggressive thing. It really GETS under peoples skin. needless to say i dont do it anymore.
