Is this info TRUE???

I can't remember WHERE, but I recent;y read here on Hip Forums, that G.W. Bush's IQ is only 91?????
We're always taking IQ tests here at Hip, mine was 134. And I think the level is 75 to be legally Retarded? (No disrespect to those with Downs intended!)

If it's true, this info FRIGHTENS ME! GW is pretty much in charge of the FREE WORLD! He can barely tie his shoes and he runs the US Nuclear Defences????

91 is within one standard deviation (sd = 15), so all that really means is that he is below average intelligence -- which should be no surprise to anyone.
But should you be scared? I'd say probably yes.

[edit] and by the way, an IQ of 134 puts you 2 sds away from the norm, placing you in the top 2.5%-ile.
And you can't really trust those online tests. Most of them score very high in order to entice you to buy more thorough test results from them.

If you're referring to the story that I think you are (that some group estimated the IQs of the last however-many presidents, with Clinton at 182 and Bush at 91), it was shown to be an internet hoax.

If it is any solace for you, to quell the fear and uncertainty, just remember that both of his opponents, Gore, and Kerry, had lower S A T scores. So if he is a 91, then Gore and Kerry are even worse.

Well, Kermit, I'm certainly not good at math. The test I took was one of those online deals that someone here at Hip Forums posted once. I don't claim to be any kind of genius. I don't remember being officially tested.

Bush isn't stupid, the 90 sometihng IQ test has been proven many times over to be a hoax and if you look for Bush's SAT scores, they're always listed somewhere between 1240-1320 on every site I've seen, which is above the average of 1020 for them. To keep calling Bush a dumbass is to just further play into him.
