It would depend on his certainty that he wouldn't be killed. It seems like he knew what he was doing and so the reward far outweighed the risk. So I'll call him brave.

I'm not going to call him stupid for even wanting to do that either. To call someone else stupid based on differing values would be arrogant.

 

I agree with Stabby although he is pretty stupid for even wanting to do it. It doesn't seem like there is a point in lying under a train.

I have done that before, its crazy loud with freight trains ..

but you got to watch cause the Air lines can drag lower than you think they can.. I woudlnt do it again, unless the ties were lower due to rot, or drainage .. there is very little clearance. but not impossible..

 

Man, I'm too big of a guy to even try it. I think it would be kind of cool tough.

 

im kinda thin, yes.. still though you cant trust a air coupling being low, the end couple might even be near dragging. If that hit you, it would hurt.

when i was in junior high, there was this asshole of a bully, who walked and shitted on me all the time.
one day, that idiot, got the "great ideal" to prove his macho to, lie down on the train tracks while the train ran over him.
later they picked up the peices of him.
i was overjoyed to be rid of him... that is just not the way i wanted to be rid of him though!
