I'm thinking of writing a story about people; I know that are going to be based on particular buildings..,haunted houses...romanesque oddities! who knows...But, many people are the same as old buildings...some people are scarey...
Uhh....you'll have to elaborate. And if you want to be a writer, you might want to study punctuation first.
Lol...sorry. It was a tad sloppy. What I meant was, some people believe houseses have personalities, especially old buildings. If not going that far some certainly feel a certain way when they are in or near buildings, ranging from: Scared, happy, sad, uneasy. I was thinking of writing about my friends and family as if they were buildings. I thought about it because I was passing an old building the other day, and it made me feel a particular way. For some unknown reason it reminded me of my friend and our relationship. I know it sounds odd, but, I hope I have made myself clearer.
You don't need other writer's permission to write the things that catch your mind's eye. Give it a go
Why not? But you should pay great attention to your style as well, sometimes style can save a book or not...
It sounds like a great idea to me. You have to write about what interests you no matter what other people say. I see houses as an extension of the people that live in them, or have lived in them, or may still live in them if you take into account ghosts, energy deposits, or overlays. But then again, maybe houses take on a life of their own. I can imagine people being like houses. There are many programs that can clean up punctuation and even though you do the best you can, if the story is good enough, you may find an editor willing to work with you. Good Luck!
