is there a way to block the marijuana leaf in the background? sometimes my mom walks by and i have to minimize the screen cuz of that.
Dude I know what you mean. It sucks my mom always slams open my door and I have to click really fast to get off of it and she looks at me suspiciously. One time I forgot to delete my history and my mom got on to do something and when she clicked on the down arrow it says hipsorum Marijuana Forums or something and she clicked it and was like what are you doing on Marijuana Forums I just said I was looking up how to tie dye stuff. She said she believed me but I dunno.
Like skip has said in the past... if you gotta use the site and young enough to have to worry about who will walk in on you, you shouldnt be on here at all. Just gotta deal with it. Or move outta the house
Dude - you're 18. Surely you can make your own mind up regarding what sites you want to visit! If she does see it, that's no guarantee that you smoke the stuff or have any interest in it!! Plus, unless she's going to stealth her way along the floor to the door of the room you're in, you'll hear her in advance, hence you'll be able to 'X' the screen well in advance.

That's why it's good to have Mozilla. Multiple tabs. Although I think the new IE has tabs, too. Or have two windows open, and when someone shows up, alt+tab. Changes windows.
why does it matter how old you are? what if i was a 36 year old trying to hide it from my kids. i guess that wouldnt really happen but its possible. and my mom already caught me smoking weed..i told her i would stop but i didnt...i even have this weed necklace thing i got at a party and my mom was like "why the fuck do you have this"... she thinks weed is like crack
Whenever you want to get on hipforums just take your pants off that way if your mom or somebody walks in the will see your naked ass and want to hurry up and leave without looking at the monitor.
download firefox, and get the extension addblock then you can block any image on the internet that you want to
They'd probably think it's suspicious that you all of a sudden want a lock though... if I lock my door my parents think I'm smoking in my room and hiding something from them. It's especially suspicious if your mom has already given you weird looks when you downsize stuff. I'd say just keep an ear out for her and have another site you can open up when she comes in. That's normally what I do, not so much because of the leaves, but because my mom would think it's horribly unsafe to be posting on these forums
