There has been a long on going conspiracy about the energy drink "Monster" FACT CHECK: Monster Energy Drink and 666? All but one piece of the puzzle is debunked for me. Supposedly, the Phi symbol stands for the letter "O" in the word Monster? Hummm.... Here's a pic of Phi symbol Here's a pic of the "O" on the energy drink can I don't believe that the intent behind the letter "O" is supposed to be the Phi symbol. The straight line with the little points on both sides looks more like a cross. It becomes an upside down cross when you tip the can all the way back and drink the last drop. Bottom line...., conspiracy or not, Phi or not, cross or not, on purpose or not. .....marketing genius is all I say. I'm half way done to finishing my Monster Energy Drink Egyptian Pyramid... Looking forward to starting my own conspiracy, based on its looks, contruction and alignments with time n space.
Now that is playing with fire BRO cause now you got the illuminati in to the mix ass well, ond then the O in monster can suddenly turn into the third eye and not just phi or a cross.
Bad advertising is advertising too. Sometimes it is the best kind of advertising, like when its a product mainly consumed by pubering adolescents who not only don't give a shit what religious folks have against their fav beverage, they love it more because lame adults are against it... and use the most futile arguments. Now, if they would just focus on the sugar, acid and over abundance of energy they would at least have a meaningful point.
i assume it stands for "graphic artist being paid way too much to just type out the word 'monster' so he added a random line."
Even when you get it wrong, it still works. Back in the 70s Toyota launched a new car. At he launch, they were asked why they named it Starrion. You can imagine the amusement of everyone when the MD said that it was named after the big white horse However it did not seem to affect the sales. The list of options was hilarious and had to be changed asap Imagine the salesman asking his customer for a top of the range car. Would you like Toyglide....automatic transmission Toysteering..... power assisted. You could even have a toy radio and a toy sunroof. No one on the marketing team in Japan had bothered to check the meaning of 'TOY' in English.
I always assumed it was a Templar Sword but since i don't drink Monster I never got a close-up look at the symbol
how is this a conspiracy? of what? for what gain by whom? (other then the usual nonsense about selling a lot of something for money)
The conspiracy is.... That drinking monster energy drinks makes one a complete Satanist as it's really the sweetened blood of goats. And that O with the cross in it.. It's like a seance symbol. True story
