Is the Asian Woman a better "Package" ?

Do you think an Asian Woman (specially thse with chinese roots) is better of a package than the white women ?

My girlfriend of the past 2+ years is Chinese-American, and is a great friend, companion and lover - beautiful, educated and successful - the complete package.

 

NO NO NO NO NO! Asian girls are nto a better package! I first want to say I am not a racist, but am stating some facts culturally I think no one will disagree with: Culturally, asians are far more conservative, and care more about education then creativity or art. They associate degrees with IQ's and believe genuine intelligence and character is won soley through study and discipline. They are also in my opinion without an ounce of doubt the hardest workign culture on the planet, but overzealous work and study leads to sexual repression and in my opinion, lack of character.
American raised asians with american raised parents? I've met some that were interesting and funny- but I can not lie for the sake of political correctness, the asian females I have come accross most of the time are a xenophobic and icy bunch. This alone is why i voted no and said asains aren't tjhe better package. If you want to get to looks, my preference is white girls, but I'm also into asians... but in looking at someone in a sexual way, personality IS involved, so I'd have to say I support my vote of no.

 

Sorry, but I think finding "the whole package" is just as likely with an asian woman as with a white woman, or black woman, or egyptian woman, etc etc

Yeah, what IS this thread about, Hannah? And Imhurria, you are overly idealistic. You're going to honestly tell me that there's no difference between how the different races of people act? Any decent sociologist would disagree with you. Steriotypes DO come from somewhere. It's not a matter of genetic difference but immense social forces that shape people as much as biology. If you're gonna go around with the idea that all people are the same, you're kind of blind to some important realities.

 

I spent 19 months in several countries in Asia in the late 1960's and I found that Asians as a whole are really no different than anyone else. Of course there are cultural differences just as there are cultural differences between middle Eastern Ladies, and some Europeans, and others.

I thought that the Asian ladies I met were warm, fun loving, affectionate, hard worknig, and intelligent. Just like anywhere some have different ethics and values from some others.

But to compare any group against any other group as a "Better Package" is just simply stupid. And all Asian people are not the same culturaly. I met some Chinese, Japanese, Phillipino, Viet Nam, Lao, Cambodian, and Taiwanese. There is no Genaric Asian.

I like all kinds of women, they (just like men) vary somewhat by culture, but there is good, bad and middle ground for everyone.

Author of the website strikes me as incredibly ignorant. Did he never stop to consider immigrants or generation 0.5, 1, 2, 3, 4 etc. asian americans?

Especially Generation 0.5 (immigrants who have lived part of their lives in asia and part of it in the "west") - there's shifting of identity and mixing of cultures here also.

Actually, the site denounces the behaviors and shortcomings of Westernized women. A person of any ethnic group can emulate the behavior and attitudes of superficiality and materialism that this site is discussing. It simply advocates that a men should seek a woman more adept at fulfilling certain roles such as wife and mother. In the authors opinion, Westernized women have 'priced themselves out of the market' by means of the pro-feminist entitlement agenda.


Truth is, there's a world full of women, and many of them would actually appreciate and respect a man that offered the working-class lifestyle that many spoiled American women feel is beneath them. In other cultures, muliebrity (been waiting to use that one!) and the ideas of marriage and motherhood being noble aspirations are not frowned upon like they are in mainstream America.

If you're going to address me, please spell my name right. Yes I know it's a bitchy thing to say, but it's a pet peeve.

I never said that society doesn't shape people, what I listed were specific ancestries not a mention of where they by any necessity grew up. Unless of course "black" is a country now. Dont' go calling folks blind when you can't read what a person is saying.


Here's the problem with this question: everybody has a different idea of what a "perfect" partner is, or a better "package". We all have different needs wants and desires to be met. Who somebody's parents were from x many generations ago isn't really going to affect who they are.
