some people report that their heart races when they're high, but I've never heard of a heart attack brought on by getting stoned. though sometimes people in the throes of an anxiety attack feel like they're going through cardiac arrest.

Though, it does lower your blood pressure, as does eating fish.

well heres the whats going on.

I stoped smokeing becasue I was having panic attacks(sober and high) and I'm trying to get that under controll. So I have not smoked for about a month now and want to try again but one thing thats freaks me out is chest pain and stuff like that becasue both sides of my family have a history of heart disease so when I do have panic attack, wich rase your heart beat is when I think Im having a heart attack to begin with.

I wan't to smoke again because I need to relax but I can't lately and every thing has been a mess becasue of it. I'm always on edge now.

Smoking anything will cause your heartrate to accelerate; such is the nature of smoking. Some people experience this as a panic attack when smoking weed; if you do, the best advice I can give you is stop, before you unleash something potentally nasty.

Smoking can increase the tendency for the blood to clot, leading, potentially to heart failure, and strokes. Over a long period, smoking deposits a fatty substance in your arteries, causing them to narrow; this also promotes heart disease.

Perhaps there is some truth in the evidence now emergeing that weed does not nessecarily promote cancer (of course, it depends entirely on ow the weed is smoked), but any kind of smoking carries risks to the heart and circulatory system.

If you have a pre-existing heart condition then probably so but I really don't know. I guess if you take your medication for your heart then it would be ok.

one time a little while ago
i got pretty stoned and i started eating that trident splash green flavour
and it was so good i couldnt help but swallow it
and i ate like a pack and it started hurting my stomach and heart
so i started drinking lots of water and it seemed to urge it on for some reason
and i thought i was gonna puke for a little then i went back in bed and tried goin to sleep but my heart was pumping hard
it slowed down after about half hour
but never the less it was not a fun high
