Yinz folks have this channel. Ive never thought to bother cause I dont watch enough tv. But I do recognize the cartoon from the inlaws .. I thought it was sick and another reason why I wont go there. So is this shit going on there. Seems like a pedo paradise ..
True but this is a channel thats on tv .. Though media is changing the way TV is thought of.. The internet is TV..
Pull the plug, cut the cord, delete the App it's the best cure for the ash heap of cultural decay . When you turn them off that's when your power counts !
Well I guess I'm far right then I don't really care.. the same results can be leaning anywhere if it's leaning just a little to the right oh my God it's alt right.. As mentioned in my first post I was at the in-laws and saw the very first cartoon on the script. Shit was disgusting.. kids coming and raping and getting molested by the devil and Jesus and I don't know where the fuck iwas going on..
Just the world we live in today, fast paced and directed towards sex sex sex. All the cool kids grow up now watching these dramatic bullshit lives of teenagers that don't exist and they're pressured to get into sex too young, not by boys, but because they feel as if it's an expectations due to the poor quality shows they watch. Most of these TV show producers should be put in jail for enciting underage sex as far as I'm concerned. No love lost with me. Fucken scum. I spoke to my 15 yo neice last week about growing up and boyfriends and she admitted she'd watched porn with friends and was quite intimated by what she was seeing and I said look never ever ever think that's what the expectation is for sex because if anyone else says otherwise you run away because it's all bullshit. I told her there's plenty of time to participate in what you see when you're older but not now and don't ever look at is as realistic either because it's all bullshit. I'm glad I had that discussion with her.
I see Dancing Queen is mentioned there If someone watches a doco about teaching kids to dance, and gets aroused, that makes them the pedo, not Netflix
You're a bit extreme in your conclusion it seems. If the cartoon is that awful convict the cartoon, nof Netflix as a whole.
Oh come on you believe people who travel are directly responsible to global warming and somehow plastic pollution. Talking about extremes here.
Since I havent the channel. I cant scan it and see whats on there. As well I wouldnt be interested anyways.. The show I seen last year I suppose its been canceled .. it was called Big Mouth. This seems to be from last year. Parent group calls for Netflix to pull 'Desire,' calling it 'child porn' Christian based site and points. Say goodbye to Netflix to protect your mind and soul 40yrs ago abouts all a boy could get their hands on was playboy or hustler. And wiggly lines..
I have explicitly and deliberately avoided the word directly But yes, wether its directly or indirectly, we adults are all for a significant part responsible for our own waste and pollution. To deny that is simply irresponsible. Trying to shove that responsibility off. Nasty. They must not care about the consequences. And hey, that seems pure bliss. I wish I had the luxury of a lacking conscience
Sadly this isn’t all that surprising. Think about it. Growing up not to many strong female role models. It was your classic damsel in distress or she did something to get some guys attention. Hell growing up porn was easy to access. Granted I had to wait 30 minutes for a 10 second clip of a porn video to download. It’s also my theory that pedo shit is going to become more common like lgbt. I know most lgbt want nothing to do with pedos. Yet some still insist it’s a harmless orientation like lgbt. I have no doubt politicians are secretly pushing for it to be normal so when their busted the blow is lessened
I think that this is why it is important to be aware of what your children are watching. If you don't think a show is right or don't support it, don't watch it. If you don't agree with the type of content netflix puts out...don't subscribe to netflix. If you have regulations for the type of content you want your children to watch then enforce it. There are many cartoons that are not for kids. Matter of fact, cartoon network (on regular old cable) has an adult swim block of content that are all cartoons that are for adults and are not appropriate for children to watch. They are not marketing it to children. Netflix asks who is viewing kids or an adult and the kids selection from what I can see only offers up kid friendly content (spoiler alert: the cartoons for adults are not offered up on this selection) If you think a show is inappropriate for your children then do not allow them to watch it, talk to them about why it is inappropriate but do not send Netflix up in flames just because you do not think every single show they offer up is appropriate. They are not advertising their platform to contain only family friendly content, if that's the type of thing you are looking for, I'm fairly sure you can find options that will cater to that. In this day and age there are so many programs and options for setting filters on your content if you want to make sure your kids are not watching inappropriate content that might be something for people to look into if they are worried about that kind of thing. I think this is kind of silly to get panties in a twist over netflix as a whole because a handful of shows are being seen as kind of sketchy... There are also lots of educational documentaries and family friendly and otherwise high quality programming available. Cable tv has everything from classic movie channels to the comedy channel and everything in between, some things are family friendly and some are not. Sabrina and the sexual content with teens is nothing more risque than anything being shown on cable like Pretty Little Liars, Riverdale and everything else. Shows for teens just have blatant sexual acts going on, it's not like when I was a teen and My So-Called Life was risque for even hinting around at a characters struggle with whether or not to have sex. Things have changed in society, you are responsible for what your kids are exposed to, not netflix, not cable, not any of the channels. Hell, it's your choice whether you even have a television. Just saying.
The thing about Netflix is, you might not run across any of that if your ''interests'' lie elsewhere. I've not seen any of that, because I tend to look for trending movies, or a tv show that I have in mind, and then I just go back to it, when I want to continue watching. Netflix is a catch all maybe for all kinds of popular tv shows, same with Hulu.
