i've been meditating 2 - 3 times a week now for about 6 months. I'm finding that i'm actually getting really close to astral projection but I'm still not quite there (projection isn't the outright aim of my meditations but i feel close nonetheless). It's frustrating but I'm too excited to give up... this kind of thing (meditation, spirituality) wasn't me at all a year ago but now I feel like a completely different person. I just wanted to see if there is anyone else out there who gets a crazy vibration/bubbling in their third eye region? It just happens throughout the day at random times. I've read all about the chakras and other bits from hindu culture but I just want to talk to someone about all of this because i feel quite alone... none of my friends really seem to get the crazy shit I talk about these days.
Hello Dustymouse. Ive been practicing yoga and meditation seriously for about a year now. the point about the vibration you experience Is Interesting. you say you get It In your third eye. I experience this sensation In my Lower spine. Ive been told that It could be Kundalini awakening. When I meditate I Imagine the air I breathe coming up through my spine and out through my mouth. the first time I felt this It scared me a little. I have also been told awakening kundalini can be quite traumatic.
No. I understand you'll hate to hear that but the third eye doesn't 'open up' and stay open for the rest of your life. The third eye, or more specifically, claravoyant abilities can occur through many different experiences. One of my clearest claravoyant experiences was during a fire ceremony with Cree Indian Shaman Bear Heart. When I was fourteen. Most other times of claravoyance where some visionary experience also occured happened during times of meditation when my mind was most understated or quiescent. In fact during meditation one can watch their mind fall asleep and go into dream state which is perhaps quite a bit more entertaining than astral travelling. Something not universally known is that not everybody has an astral form. That's not a negative as the astral is from where the bulk of negative emotions are stored by society. Before attempting astral travelling one really should take a course in banishing astral entities and rising through the planes as defined by the Tarot cards and paths between Sephiroth as the Western magi have gotten astral travel down. Now etheric body travel is something different from astral travelling. Astral travelling is just like dreaming, daydreaming even. But etheric body travel is where people step out of their flesh. From all spiritual masters I have ever known they say that this is not a good thing. It represents a breakdown in integration between mind and body. We are in the material plane to manifest ourselves through it and within it. Also, as long as a human body exists etheric travel experiences do not prove, as some say, life beyond the body. I question why someone strives for this OOB experience. Most people who say that have it are on drugs, and/or just full of shit. The one person I knew who did have an OOB exp would always wake up during the night and try to turn on their light or go to the bathroom and their hand would go through things and then their shock would usually propel them back into their body. That one person was also a very extremely spiritual person who spent hours every day doing Transcendental Meditation. For years and years. So again, astral travel is like daydreaming, etheric travel is the OOB that people bandy about like it means something. And an extreme few experience it. I have been to a talk by The Dalai Lama where he spoke of only knowing one nun who could do it. Moreover OOB is not a sought after experience by any spiritual system. More likely it's an idle brag. Finally, for those reading, the third eye is a center of awareness which one can see during meditation, and which in itself doesn't do much but in general is the part of the brain which allows one to experience the sensation of 'unity' and 'oneness.' Some people make the mistake of thinking third eye, pineal gland and bubbling bliss and the range of spiritual experiences all have to do with third eye. They think that some monoamine of the brain or form of phenylethylamine or triptamine is the source of vision. This isn't necessarily true. Nor are these chems important to having knowledge of the third eye.
So Ive experienced the bubbling sensation where the 3d eye should be countless times. Ive always been doing astral projection...started when I was about 8 I believe. At least I think its astral projection (able to create a world around me and see images that isnt really umm solid or should I say the images aswell as the world flashes about 1000x per second.) I can do this at any given time. Also this maybe common but also I have perfect vision but I tend to see dots all around constantly moving...more noticeable in the dark and when looking into the sky...not really sure what that is so meh. As for OOB experience I have to say it wasn't that hard...I'm not saying I've experienced it for attention, I really done it atleast I think I did so you tell me. I'll describe my experience doing so. There is a feeling that starts from the feet and its vibration then another source of vibration starts in the head. Once they connect another vibration follows from the feet and as it slowly reaches the chest area my legs feel as if they are bending through the mattress, once the whole body feels the vibration a crazy sensation overwhelms the body. When that happens it feels like I'm about to die and my heart begins to race...but I don't know how to say this...its not my heart but it is, like in the same area my heart beats slow but fast with a sharp pain that isnt so bad...I dont get it...moving on, my eyes are closed but they are open...I'm able to see around the room around me. the body doesnt move only if you think it, if I become too nervous I start right back at the beginning laying in my bed. When I first did this I thought I had died and I was stuck in limbo so just imagine how I felt. Once I continued to practice I was able to fly and what not. At first I thought I had complete control of this world or what ever until I kept imagining cheese cake inside my fridge and kept eating...very sloppy but I was amazed on how I can smell and even taste it, but then something showed up in my kitchen and said "Gluttony" So my question is what and who was that because I can't remember its face, upon meeting it I got kicked out that state. Alright now the real reason I decided to create an account. I'll try to make this quick. I was laying in bed with my cousin when I was about 14, and I seen someone in my room who looked like him going through my phone. I asked why is he trying to take my numbers and it didnt reply, I turned to see my cousin was laying next to me and a chill went down my spin as I looked back at the creature. It said what is your desire and I couldnt answer it cause my mouth was frozen. It broke into a million peaces and to ash. Now this is more personal but I wanna get to the bottom of this my girl had an abortion while I waited outside the clinic and I was leaning back in my car trying to clear my mind. I then found myself underground or maybe it was a cave, but there was this blue thing with horns on his head with his legs crossed like them people who meditate. He asked me what is my desire. btw this is 11 years later from the first experience. This time I spoke with my mind and my words were like an eco I asked whats the price thinking this thing could be the devil (horns on its head) he looked like one of them Pakistani blue god or something and I'm a Christian. I never did get to tell it what I wanted because I'm not down with losing my soul with stuff I dont understand. If anyone can give more detail to that I'd be grateful. I've never really looked into this kinda stuff until all this happened.
Ok, i'm a bit confused. I'm sure you know that the pineal gland is referred to as the third eye, this sensation you guys experiencing in your third eye region, do you feel it literally on the actual center of your brain/head where this gland is located? Or in the center of your four head. Please somebody clarify this for me, it'll relieve me of some confusion. Thank you in advance
blue thingy - I can only recommend - dzogchen togel and for understanding visions. I have those dots too of all colors and it's the only spiritual study I have ever found besides the usual 'blue pearl' or Muktananda, which provides just about no practice besides devotion. Horned beings who fulfill desires are not spiritual beings, which teach one. Also, this type of desire fulfillment which is like wakeful dream is in fack wakeful dream. For real study of astral travel Crowley and Regardie are the best. Study Golden Dawn and Crowley - Book 4 - I believe which talks about methods. One should rise straight up as far as one can until one blacks out. One also needs to learn banishin ritual of the pentagram and banish all beings and deities. They are all phoney. Easier technique is to do nothing as per Dzogchen. Please consider these practices. All you astral travelers.
about the dots you guys speak of, i wonder if it's the same as the ones i see? i have experience with meditation, but haven't practiced it on a daily basis. and before even discovering what meditation was, at the young age of 6 or 7, i could remember seeing an ocean of colorful dots (usually seen in the dark) that just flow through space.. i asked a few friends (who were not spiritual) and they did not report experiencing the same thing.
yep - like that - and my whole life - off and on - and I also have meditated and am card carrying Buddhist (except I leave the card at home). For 30 years. I am inspired to say that blue deity might be Shiva. You should ask it for a name. That's common magickal practice. Demons also mimic deities so you need to get the grand scheme of things and I only know of Western Magick, such as Golden Dawn of Los Angeles , BOTA of Los Angeles, and Dzogchen of Namkhai Norbu. These are most esoteric studies on Earth. Well also Sri Vidya of of likes of Amritananda. Kalachakra. Yamantaka. These are the world's most profound teachings, which also have very developed practices which are open which means that the mysteries are just within, not without and of the teaching. One needs to be freed and made less mysterious by a teaching, and a teacher, not made more mysterious.
just started meditating a few days ago after a long lapse... i never got that far in the first place, but that's neither here nor there. anyways, i felt a tingling sensation at my third eye too.. kind of a popping/minor throbbing sensation. it wasn't painful though. immediately i tried to suppress it, but then i realized i was actually just supposed to observe. so that's all i did.
Blue Bull head god with horns = Yamantaka. The other's could not fulfill all desires. If skin was blue/black.
bump, should there just be one type of meditation? is TM the best to try and learn? can someone help me please, why is it so hard to find any information on TM what should i/we be doing? meditating while trying to match earth tones with your vocal chords?
