I'm going to recieve some HBWR seeds in the near future and want to know if the LSA is water soluble. (Don't tell me how they make you sick or suck because I know, I've done them 3 times) The first two times I chewed the seeds and swallowed them, the third time I crushed them into a powder and ingested the powder with a chaser. The first two times there was intense nausea, and the third time it was mild. This time I am going to crush them into a powder and soak them in a small cup of water. Afterwards I am going to pour the water into a strainer, and strain out and discard the seed matter and just drink the water remaining. Will this work, and is there a certain amount of time that I should soak the powder for?

yes. amides are hydrophilic by virtue of the polar carbonyl, with resonance occuring between the nitrogen and oxygen.

probably more than what you asked for, but yeah.. go ahead and brew that yummy tea.
