Is it Weird to Smoke with People you don't know?

Do you guys find it awkward to smoke with a friend and theirs friend's friend or something like that? I guess that'd be the common experience.....

One time I smoked in a circle of probably 9 people only knowing 1 of them. It wasn't that bad, but I guess it could be a little awkward. I guess for me not really. Huh. I thought I'd make the thread because I think it's awkward but it's not actually that bad.

They had an awesomely made clear joint that puffed forever and it was great! I was so high. I never get the chance to make joints because I suck at rolling them and it wastes a lot of weed.

I'm only awkward if they make it awkward. With most stoners, this is not the case. Unless theyre assholes.

 

Depends on the people, if theyre really lame and boring then yeah. If theyre kinda cool and funny then ofc not.

Idk, usually i preffer smoking alone. But thats because i know very few people whose company i enjoy enough to smoke with (2 to be precise xD)
But every now and then i wind up up with really interesting people, and its just a really good experience.

 

I think it's always better with 2 other people (3 including oneself) or less.

 

2 is a company, 3 is a orgy.

 

Hopefully none of the other eight people had herpes [life]

 

i'm just going to be honest , i am shy in front of strangers and then smoking only makes it worse for me and i'm more paranoid about what i do because i feel like they are going to laugh at me for being an idiot. i try and tell myself, i don't care, i don't care. who gives a crap what they think. and slowly i'm getting over it. but i much prefer doing it with people i know well and are used me being my weird old self

 

unless i talk to the people before i get stoned and found they are really free, loving spirits.. then i feel free to let loose

I get really quiet when I'm high usually. Unless I'm like provoked into a conversation that I feel I would enjoy.

When I smoked with a bunch of strangers it was really chill, they just talked and they might ask me some questions and everything but were totally cool with me not talking a lot. Plus I got smoked up for free - which is always fun! I ended up having to talk to a cop for a while that night which made me on edge the rest of the night...probably the worst high I've ever had. But it was real awesome up to the 5-0 part.

 

I don't mind smoking with people I don't know, especially if they've got some chronic to chip in. I remember one of my first experiences with weed was with like 12 people I didn't know and one person that I did. It was one of the guys birthdays so he had bought an ounce. We sat in a circle at some random park and blazed for hours.

However I still prefer smoking alone or with one or two other people.

 

on the come up i'm chatty and everyone loves me...

that all changes in like 10 minutes though because when i'm high i don't talk very much :S

 

I like to smoke with new people on occasion.

 

For the most part I like to smoke either by myself or w/ a small group of people I know. I have had times where I'm at a friends place & a few of their friends I don't know come over. When they first show up I'm always trying to figure out if they're cool or not. Most of the time everyone ends up being ok & will pitch in for a blunt, pack a bowl, etc. However I have had it happen where the people come over, mooch weed (off me) & leave. That's when I don't like smoking w/ people I don't know.

 

Or if they're straight up douchebags, which has also been the case.

 

Get real stoned and just talk.. awkwardness dissapears.

 

I like to smoke with one or two people in general, but smoking with people is usually how I meet people, so I guess I like either. However, I also have the problem of getting very quiet when I'm high. I think that one or two people is more fun because it's fun to chill with your best friends when high.
