Are you sure that its not becuase a person became so sane that people saw them as insane o.0 lol....But i wouldnt go into the reincarnation idea so much simply because its imapoosible to truly know unless someone truley does become that "sane" or enlightened...But i do kknow that i was a caveman or something with the dinosaurs in one of my past lives because of my fascination with dinosaurs when i was younger..Its easy to know about past lives, its when people start naming themseleves so specifically that i become sketchy with it...However in general i feel good just a little spaced out, i dont mind though, iam happy

 

perfect case: pink floyd. Roger waters has no underlying mental illness, syd Barrett did. They both take ridiculous amounts of acid, syd goes insane, roger doesn't.

If you're honest with yourself, and I believe EVERYONE has the capacity to be, regardless of their "underlying mental issues", there's nothing to be afraid of.

 

Thats funny, why does most of society do exactly this? What is insanity anyway? Someone that thinks different than everybody else? Sounds like a stupid label.

I would say that only the person can drive themselves insane. I have stated before that your average lsd user normally uses a good amount of other hard drugs. Not all but this could contribute to the insanity and the problems in their head. When I was young and started using I did loose touch with the real world. I have since trekked back.

i've wondered this before and became a little paranoid about it.

but, how do you define insane...really?

and how you say how it starts to affect who you really are...once you do a psychedelic you realize who you thought you were really were wasn't even true...which leads me to wonder if insanity is even a valid concept. if the mass majority of people don't know themselves anyway then they must be insane too.

so if you turn out like Syd Barret, i would just say you're lost, but you're still completely who you are...you're just in a state of being lost. you'll eventually come back, no matter how long it takes.

this is what leads me to wonder like why can't you just do like 100 hits? wouldn't you eventually come back no matter how fucked up or "insane" you became? you can never really lose who you REALLY are. i just wonder if there's such thing as "permanant" insanity or something like that.

i'm not claiming i know anything, i'm just wondering because i don't know.

 

How would you know if you would be different one way or another? There's no way to really know who I would be had I never taken drugs in my life. I could be exactly the same.
