Is it in Bad Taste?

Someone i am in a band with made up a song "Tsunami" the other day....its just a surf rock thing with an occasional "tsunami" yell.


Do you think this is wrong, and, if so, would it have been wrong 2 weeks ago,

 

nahh... nothing should interfere with artistic creativity.

 

Nah! Infact I think you should revise the lyrics to "Tsunami; 100k and counting!"

 

but that reminds me of "we are flintstones kids, 10 million strong.....and growing"

anyway, we already have Wipeout. everyone will say you're just being derivative.

 

nahhh... artistic rehashing is an integral part of modern music

 

but not with such an important piece. the rehashing would be a joke for the general audience.

 

well, its not THAT much like "wipeout" except for the "tsunami" yelling, I mean its got at least some originality to it musically........I have a feeling its an unfunny joke, but it sounds kind of good at the same time
