Is Having Sex in Amsterdam Considered Safe ?

I had a quick question. How Safe is it to have sex with this Escort girls in Amsterdam in terms of getting transmitted by HIV/AIDS. Are these girls free from HIV/AIDS ?

I know the Government in Netherlands have legalised and regulated prostitution so all the girls can undergo a health check-up but still it is on voluntary basis it is not compulsory on them to undergo this test and health check-up. So if someone wants to take the Plunge but is scared what does he do ?

 

Free of HIV/AIDS maybe but dunno about VD. Just use a condom (i don't think any escort girl will do it without it anyway).

 

So you are saying that they are free from HIV/AIDS !! is it something like this, that since the Escort Girls come quite costly as compared to the Girls in RLD that in turn assures some degree of higher safety (Ofcousre that couplped with a Precaution i.e. a condom used)

 

Alternatively, you can go out and find yourself a slut, and have sex with her for free.

But they are all on the pill over there and are very promiscuous.

So ask yoursewlf this, what is the difference in the risk between fucking a regularly tested whore with a condom on, or a slut who might not be so careful?

 

I do know about it, but I am saying what does the statistc say ? what does the study so far say are they genreally HIV free? Has there any incident reported so far of anybody getting HIV after a Sexual Encounter in any of the girl (Escort Girls) in Amsterdam.

 

I've never heard of such a thing. I'd say it is more likely for the girls to catch something from the guys, and then they can't work... or they go and work in some place illegally where they will suck you off without a condom.

 

I did a quick google search in Dutch for you, but did not find any statistics.

However most profesional Dutch prostitutes will use a condom and have regular tests.

 

Remember it takes up to 6 months for HIV to show up, so you are still taking a chance if you go to them.

Look this entire debate about the Dutch Govt having legalised prostitution in Netherlands and hence it to be taken for granted that it will be safe is not entirely correct. the govt is offering these Medical check-up and test on voluntary basis they are not making it compulsory for any prostitute to undergo it to be able to be in Business So if the girl wishes not to go for it or is ignorant about it. Noone is stopping her ffom not being in Business.

It carries the same risk as a one night stand.

Talk to the girl first, if she is rude to you or looks like a junkie or whatever don't do it.

Stick to the dutch ones, and better to stay away from the ones that look like super models. 50 pop will get you a nice hand job.

There is always going to be a risk, you could catch any number of things. But there is a also a risk if you get off with someone on a one night stand.

Lot's of men in Holland regularly visit prostitutes and think nothing off it. It's really no big deal, and nothing to be ashamed off.

If you are going to go to the red light district then watch your back. Avoid going down long narrow deserted lanes. It's hard not to, but make sure you keep an eye out for dodgy looking characters who might like to follow down them and mug you. Nearly happened to me once, it happens a lot there these days.

no need to get paranoid about it, just be aware of it. Stick to place where it is busy, common sense really. Don't take any shit from a black dude who might want to sell you charlie. I have always considered it one of the areas where I feel the safest in Amsterdam, because it is always busy there. When My sister lived in Amsterdam, I would take the route through the red light district instead of around it, if I went to the station in the middle of the night, because it felt like the safest route.
Off course the best way to get mugged is behaving like a tourist.

 

It is safe. I have never felt threatened there. It is run by serious organised gangs and policed by the state of the netherlands. No-one is going to fuck with you there, unless you fuck them.

When I nearly got mugged it was a bit away from there just off the square at the bottom of Damrak.

I've heard of tourists getting hassled by black guys in the main hub, but they tend to generally behave themselves there for obvious reasons.

 

Hey Guys I think this whole topic has got diverted towards it seems to the discussion, that is it safe to be in the RLD of Amsterdam but that was not what I was asking. When I say, is it safe in Amsterdam to have sex I only mean from the point of view of being infected with HIV. I know the precautions to be taken from not being Mugged up ! :bobby:
