No, and to say something like that is disrespectful to anyone who had to live in Nazi Germany or suffer in a concentration camp. Hitler exterminated 6 million Jews and almost as many Gypsies, Catholics, and political dissidents. He 'cleansed' Germany of it's disabled and less fortunate. He instituted fascist policies that make Bush's conservative ones look Socialist by comparison, and ran a totalitarian regime that in no way resembles Bush or America. Besides, anyone who was around to help Hitler gain power 70 years ago is long dead by now anyway. If you want to speak out against Bush or the American government by all means do so, this is the place for it, but sounding like an asshole by comparing America to Nazi Germany isn't gong to get your point very far

Bush wasn't even alive when Hitler was around... so any direct link is silly. The Nazis were Nietzchean nihilists, Bush is an overly moralistic born-again Christian. Idealogically, there's little similarity. I personally do think the Nazis' propaganda technique can be compared to those used by the Bush administration - namely, make the public scared so it continues to support you. And plenty of other governments have used it too in some way or another. But that's just because it's an effective technique, not because of any direct link to the Nazis.
