is anyone else finding the holby city christmas special cheesy?

personally i dont watch it but what i saw of it (after eastenders before we managed to change the channel) it seemed very dramatic - with someone going to jail and a guy walking out of the suregery for i think a girl needing a heart transplant.

course that was the preview.

 

they did the whole ''its a wonderful life'' thing, a bit far fetched for such a serious drama such as city

 

Can't watch Holby City. I caught it a couple of times recently and it seems to be non-stop open heart surgery with blood squirting out of ppl's chests. For a bit of variety, they have all the lifts shut down for a security alert so the quacks have to do their open-heart operations in the corridors without surgical masks or proper equipment. Ugh ...
