Is anal the new "Black"

Following a discussion with my early 20's daughter (we are quite open about sex/relationships) the gist of it is that among the highly educated, upward, wealthy club set, anal sex is just a given.
It's normal and expected.
Yes, she has done it.

Back in "my day" I think my generation did anal because it was "naughty" - we broke rules etc. and almost certainly a majority of my generation never got round to it.

My daughter's generation seems quite different in their outlook. It appears to be a common - almost expected practice.

For those among us here in that age group, is that sexual act occurring as widespread as in my daughter's contends, or maybe just confined to her so called social grouping?

Yes, I think anal is not all that taboo anymore.

 

it's probably pretty standard to at least try it, but i don't know that it's a regular part of everyday sex or anything like that.

Theres a saying: Once you go black you don't go back. I think that is what was meant by 'the new black' and I do totally agree, a large amount of my friends including myself have done Anal.

 

I've always thought it was about fashion. The new 'black' displaces what was the old 'black'. In this case I'm not sure it makes a lot of sense - anal sex is replacing...what?

But I'm glad we have a more informed generation that doesn't blindly accept the old social conditioning. If it's true that young women think that anal sex is a common and normal sexual practice then it appears I was born a little too early.

 

I suspect Anal has always been a common practice, regardless of sexual orientation - you only need to see ancient cave paintings & pottery for evidence of this. The only difference is that in BC times it was quite acceptable & done openly (as the pottery images clearly depict). Then came Christianity & the 'civilised' morals that go with it, making any non-procreative form of sex something to be severely frowned upon. Of course it would never stop anyone from doing it - it would just shame them into admitting it. These days, however, with a greater liberal understanding of such things it's not only accepted, but encouraged.

But I do agree it's much more common than it use to be, most of my friends have at least tried Anal. I know my partner would do it every time we had Sex if he was allowed.

 

But for most people it's something they do in addition to, rather than a substitute.

i would say no in my experience, although my experience is limited, but from the anal sex i had it is much less arousing. the only reason i ever had it after the first time (which was just to see what its like) was so i didnt have to worry about birth control.

 

That may be true from the male perspective, but it doesn't explain why young women may be more willing to have anal sex than in the past (if that is even true).

 

I'm the other way around - vaginal sex is not arousing whilst anal sex is.

 

I think a big part of the change is due to the Internet, im only 30 but when I was younger (early teens) I spent my days outside with friends and everything was almost innocent, then my early 20s we started getting computers and the Internet. Now we have children under 12yrs old with Laptops and Internet access, and google can find pornographic results on what ever you search for so younger people are coming across porn sites.


And let's face it every young teen male (and a lot of females) will watch porn and porn these days always end up with the girl getting Anal so this becomes something that the teenager watching wants to try. I was introduced to Anal from my partners interest and his web history lol.

Everybody thinks they have to do whatever they see in porn these days.

I know three single women in their twenties, and they tell me that they and all their friends constantly deal with guys their age who expect all women to be into anal sex. The girls feel a lot of pressure to conform.

There is also the birth control issue. One of the girls has a friend who is in a monogamous dating relationship, and after STD testing, she now lets him fuck her ass or mouth without a condom, but he has to use condoms when he goes in her pussy, so he almost always chooses ass.

Then there is the so-called virginity issue, which I don't understand at all. One of the three young women knows someone who will give almost any guy her asshole but is "saving" her vagina for a serious relationship, claiming that somehow makes her a virgin. Reality check: If you are letting a guy put his dick in any part of your body and fuck you, then you aren't a virgin. It's a silly word game, and why should anyone care?

Probably, the tightness issue is only being talked about by sexually inexperienced guys, who have never been with a woman who knows how to excercise and make good use of her PC muscle. She can make her **** as tight as it needs to be.

When I was in college in the eighties, almost nobody (straight) seemed to have any interest in anal, or in facials. An average single girl only did vaginal sex, in the missionary position, with all the lights turned off. The fun, adventurous girls without morals did multiple positions, with the lights on, and sucked dick. The ultimate slutty move was to give head, let him come in your mouth, and swallow his load.

I think anal has become the new blowjob.
