The new Maiden album is coming on Sept. 4th, it's called Book of Souls and it's going to be a 2 CD package or ( 3 LP's ) I really haven't listened to Maiden in a long time, I grew bored with their proggy output in the mid to late 80's and tuned out. I'm hoping this one recalls the Killers / # of the Beast sound Anyone a fan ?
I was a Maiden fan and still like my favourites but no, I am not a fan of their latest albums and probably not even interested enough in checking this one out. I think we can say with certainty that if you are hoping for an album in the same vein of Killers/Number of the beast you will get disappointed It will probably be more like Brave new world or one of those after that.
