I prefer buttons to touch screens. Old school iPods were cool because they had buttons, and you could blindly--and this is important, here--navigate them while driving.

With touch screens, there is nothing to feel, so you have to look at the screen. And then you drive off the road.

I don't know, the internet sucks today. I keep reading things and it's like I kind of want to comment, but in the end...I..I've got nothing.

    Happy Monday folks

Only controls on my steering wheel are radio and cruise control. Also Bluetooth but I don' have that hooked up (yet) so its useless.

I don't even have an iPod anymore. I just put music on a flash drive and navigate through with the controls on my steering wheel.

Honestly surprised to learn they still make iPods. Why?

I still have my iPod from 10 years ago. It's astounding how much heavier and smaller than it is from my phone.

I prefer my iPod Shuffle. I can clip it to my t-shirt and it has physical buttons.

I have a device in my car that has a slot for a microSD card, it contains my entire music library (over 30 gigs). It works by broadcasting to an FM channel in the car radio, sounds awesome, and it cost just $17... it sits in the cigarette lighter port... and has buttons to fast forward or reverse, and volume controls. But I use the volume knob on the radio, it's easier to deal with. I have a folder in the chip with my favorite tunes (about 600 of them) and I set it to play them on random...
If I want to listen to an entire album, I pull over and select it, then get back on the road...I'm not going to drive off the road or hit someone because I'm distracted with an iPod or other music player... but then again I don't answer the call phone while driving either... that's just dumb. And dangerous.

When I first bought my car, I panicked when it didn't have a CD player. But it's basically like having an MP3 player built into the dash. That's cool and all, but I was always a fan of burning mix CDs for the ride.

Lol, I remember putting a 8-track in my first car so I could listen to my dad's Eagle's Greatest Hits.
