Invasion of the Body Snatchers!

    who agrees its better than "the invasion"? i like the way they take your life in the book way cooler than just a spore taking it over.

    I don't know what two books -- or book and movie you're comparing -- but Jack Finney's novel, "The Body Snatchers" is really worth reading; beats the tar out of any of the movies. As far as the movies go, you've got four to choose from. I think the 1956 and 1978 ones are both good, with the original edging out the remake. I haven't seen the more recent two remakes.

    Was talking about novel by Finney and the movie with Nicole Kidman in it. (whatever her name is)

    Yes Jack Finney's book is definitely worth reading; I also favour the 1956 film version, though Abel Ferrara's Bodysnatchers is pretty good too. Haven't seen the Kidman version and have no immediate plans to do so.
