Hi. I am new to any kind of "forum" and am learning how to navigate around the site format. I'm a 38 year old woman married to a woman who is more than 20+ years my senior. I moved to her country to be with her. I learned her language and we've built a life together. So it goes without saying that we don't have many people in our contact who really understand what it is like for us being from two different countries and having such an age difference. People seem to be more comfortable that we are two women than about our age difference. It would be nice to somehow talk to others out there who may have a similar situation. Our families and friends accept us but they haven't experienced the issues we have. Maybe someone can relate with us. Have a good day.
Sounds as if you have overcome adversity from a few quarters - there are a few avenues of opportunity within this site which I'm sure will afford Aid and Assistance "Hail and Welcome"
Hi welcome to the boards. Sorry I can't relate to your situation but someone here will definitely be able to. Maybe have your wife also join hip. Both of you would be able to make lots of friends here. I've been a member here for only a second compared to most of the seniors and I've got a great friend already. Share your thoughts and have a great time on hip.
