I've been hearing more about Paganism recently and finding it more and more interesting.

I was wondering what would be the best places to start with learning about it. I know Paganism is a very broad area, but I have no idea where to start. Thank you very much to anyone who will help.

    Paganism is a umbrella term.

There are many religions and paths labeled paganism.

Everything from Asatru, to Discordianism, wicca to celtic reconstructionism.

There are many, but one may be right for you.

Hell, even take the ecclectic path if that suits you, and walk many paths simutaneously.

those are just some names, its up to you to search on from here.

I dont feel like writing individual articles on every path.

But do know this whilst on your journeys: Its easy to publish bullshit in a book, its even easier to post bullshit online.

    check out witchvox.org too

    or sacredtexts

or one of the greatest pagan sites of all! Google.com

Thank you. I know it is a huge category that I am asking about, but mainly I wanted was things like you posted, web sites that cover multiple things, or at least the most popular ones. :cheers2:

i reccomend you look into your ancestral roots.

If your mixed like me, it may be hard, but still worth it. Im Irish/Italian/Spanish/Dutch/ and a small fraction of native, like pretty much everyone else. But lately i have been focusing on Celtic mythos and deity.

Wicca is one of the most popular, and at times, hodge-podged neo pagan religion out there. But its still beautiful if you get the right teacher or find the right book. But with wicca, and the countless books and such, you will probably find many deviations from the original sects of wicca like Gardenian. But hey, whatever works, right?

Dont always cling to what is popular. Take some time to delve into the esoteric and little known. If only for a bit.

And remember one thing, Satan aint real, unless you accept him. Laughter is a wonderful tool to banish "evil" and negativity.
