Looks as if it is shaping up to be an interesting mini series event on TNT. Does anyone else agree?

I have seen the first two episodes and they were alright. The first episode went kind of slow but the second one was better.

Please tell me the indains really called the white trappers "beaver eaters". I kind of understand why all the men were so anxious to go out west then. In all seriousness I think this is going to be a pretty good mini-series.

I love it. But I grew up on simular stories from my Grandparents. I really like the way the show is being "fair". It's not showing things from just one viewpoint.

Soccergirl - Natives had lots of names for the settlers. "Beaver Eaters" is pretty tame when compared to some of the names people were calling eachother.

I only watched part of the first episode. I didn't care much for it,I was hoping it would be something like Lonesome Dove.

I don't think you were following me icedteapriestess. I don't mean the name was gross or yucky. Men like "beaver" do you follow me.
