    sounds true
tobaco is a medicinal herb when used as a medicinal herb, its known to have benificial properties when used properly
most of the cancer risk isnt from tobaco itself but all the added crap (i think, but wouldnt dout if tobaco itself does cause some risk)
i dont have my refference books now but tobaco has been used many ways
one way i can think of off the top of my head is mixed with fresh garlic & fed (noyt large ammounts ofcourse) to dogs will make them not get ticks
its used i think (dont quote me on this at all without finding info yourself because i'm not that sure i remember right) its used topicaly on wounds for a certain type infection (or was it as a drawing agent to draw poisions out from piosionouse spiders or scorpions?) damn wish i wasnt so damn tired and could think...lol..
well the point is...its a medicinal herb like pot thats gotten a bad rap over the years because of all the misuse and abuse
(and im quitting tobaco as we speak)

simple pleasures when u have few left can seem to keep u alive
many will atribute theyre long life to alcahol or an active sex life long into old age
i think hes 1/2 joking but kinda saying leave me alone let me smoke i dont care if its bad for me the pleasure of doing it ..of living life enjoying it, accepting at a certain point in life worrying about health and living as long as u can isnt as important as enjoying what you enjoy as long as u can..but might ge stoned

Love that post Soaringeagle, I mix a bit of tobacco and garlic and give it to my dog over the warm months... It was used By Native Americans just for that,, among other things... ppl dont know what they are doing they only do it cause it makes them feel good... When the human species figures out what makes them feel good they continue to do it till it kills them.. some ppl dont know what anything is.. But then again it still doesnt matter...As long as you know what your doing to yourself is all that really count's...

I agree for the sex part but alcohol is terrible for the body...well unless you have the drink a day they say is apparently good for you but yah I donno about that. Alcohol is basically a poisen substance your letting eat away at your organs.

    love that post too
    apreciate many of yours though

on tobaco, and now mentioning tribal cultural use what was it used for? blessings, cleansing giving a gift to the fire that keeps us warm given to the rocks to cleanse before entering a sweatlodge used in healing. shared to prolong peace between eachother

and used to heal , (didnt wanna say was used medicinaly because medicinaly lotta timnes doesnt mean heal at all but medicate medicate medicate) (i'm lil high so lost my train of thought)
    ah yes
with substances all weed tobaco anythig its about learning to take just respect it, use it only as needed to do good for u, if u find yourself wantin to just do more n more we you know your medicating not healing
whatever can heal can also harm

Moderation of substance is the key to over all good health.. Dont use to much BRAN flakes or youll shit your brains out... dont smoke to much or youll get sick... Dont drink more than 3 alcoholic beverages a day... Dont take more Tylenol than that is recommended on the bottle... you can learn alot by just reading the lable...
But dont put down one posion to pick up another and then call the one you used before deadly... that is just stupid...imho..idk..

exactly i agree 100 percent tobaco is nearly as bad as alcahol though too..

suposedly a glass of wines good 4 u i dont believe it myself but
my point wss his grandad atributed tobaco to his lifespann
at a certain point in life you can attribute your longevity to the things that gave you the most pleasure even if bad for you
or..not even the most pleasure but the longest lasting 1 when all the otheres came and went..you kept on eating smoking drinking fucking dancing something that u do alotta throughout your life wether really good or bad 4 u really the pleasure it gagve u helped u get through your life...

wow im pretty high (havent slept in days either) am i babbling?

I don't think smoking a pipe every now and then is really bad for you. Unless your smoking like 4 or 5 bowls a day. And anyways, what doesn't cause cancer :).

Oh yea, I read some article about the pipe smoking thing and age longevity a while back. It theorized that because of the lessened stress that moderate nicotine use had, it would make you healthier. Sounds kind of confusing, but it seems like the mind has a lot of power over the body.

SoaringEagle had some pretty good ideas for discussion too.

Don't try to bash me reefer rogue, its not worth it. :)

If you take tobacco and mix it in water you get yourself a natural insecticide. My grandpa used to do this to help get rid of ants in his house. Sorta ties into the whole dog + 'baccy = no fleas.

Id still rather smoke some nug tho.

Too bad you cant smoke it in public.

Speaking of smoking in public, that public smoking ban there trying to implement is a load a fascist turd. Had to get that out
