Who here plas an instrument/sings?

I do gitaur i'm not very good cos' i have only been doing it for about two months

I also do keyboard/piano, i am better at that but i would rather do gitaur in a band than piano/keyboard

I have mucked around with shamanic drums and am thinking about sitar and singing.

So what about you guys?

 

I play guitar, and I'm currently learning the trumpet.

 

I play bass and thrash my little classical guitar occasionally. I use my pc as a musical instrument as well...ahhh fruity loops.

 

I play the spoons and can yodel

 

i can play the keyboard abit and fully intend one day to actually learn to play the classical guitar i have sat in the corner

 

flute ........would love to learn how to play the bagpies man would wake the street up at 4.30 in the morning yeah purple haze on the bagpipes.............:rockon: cuse me while i kiss the sky

 

I mostly play drums and sing, also guitar and bass and reason on the PC. We had a rubbish space-rock band called The Phasers, but that's not really doing much at present.

 

I had tabla lessons for a few years and have dabbled with other kinds of percussion such as taiko, darabuka, various samba instruments.

Ive been learning to play the guitar on and off for about 2 years now.

 

i play piano, though don't currently own one. i've played since i was 4.

 

I play trombone (obviously) and most other brass instruments, but also guitar, piano, and vocals, if you can play vocals. I also attempt percussion; good at the auxillary stuff, bad at the drumset.

I would like to learn the oboe and/or English Horn....when played right they make amazing sounds...

 

Guitar I've been playing longest, over 10 years now I think about it. I'm trying to get my head around a bunch of little instruments collected over the last few years, getting fairly good at harmonica and flute.

And I can't say I can 'play' these, but I can get a tune out of a keyboard and a zither.

i play keyboards, im pretty slack with my practing though, ive got all the lyrics and titles for songs, just need the music to go with my album... 6 am starts are painfull...

 

I play oboe and just made all district band in Florida :H

 

I play a few - the guitar, piano, violin and fiddle and am learning to play the flute!

Really want to play cello and the harp!!

I love to play music.
I started off playing the recorder / treble recorder at primary school, closely followed by learning to play the flute when I was 6 or 7. I also have a bass guitar which I've taught myself to play since I was about 14 or 15 and over the past couple of years I've been teaching myself how to play the guitar...nothing exciting...just some Johnny Cash or Tracy Chapman. My sister started to learn the clarinet when I was about 9 or 10, so I taught myself how to play basic things on that, aswell as on the piccolo. I am also known to have a little go on the piano/keyboard, but I'm not very good...just experimenting most of the time.

I canny sing for shite though.

 

Used to play the piano and then got scientific with the keyboard. Now my music days are over or put on hold. Favourite pieces I played on piano was Bach and Beethoven.
