    And terror struck me then,
As I watched my body crumble before it.
Bones to ashes, flesh to gesturing emptiness...

    And you, in high acclivity
    Thrust my soul to suffering,
    Transfixed by repulsion,
    Of perpetual vigilance.
    The myriad cry of terror,
    Undulated as a serenate shrill.

You lift me up and carry me away....
My last will to thrust the dagger in,
    Before I slip away....
    Fade away.
