Ingesting? Experienced Replies Needed

First of all....

Salvia smells good as an incense but breathing the thick smoke tastes shitty and I hate it.

Second - my grandfather used to make his own herbal pills(he was a naturepathic) and I learned how to from him.

Now... the question.

Is it possible to take an exact and stuff it in a pill and take it, and get the same effect if I had smoked it? Will I get sick? Any bad side effects?

If it's possible I plan to get the strongest extract I can find and try it out. Of course thats limited on if it really will work, what side effects may be, and efficentcy. If I can't get confirming responses I'll probably take a few leaves and swallow them to see what happens.

Anyways~! All answers are appreciated as long as they are flames or telling me it's a stupid idea. I'm looking for intelligent responses.

the quid method involves holding leaves in your mouth for half an hour or so while gently chewing them. The active ingredient can be absorbed through the bottom of your mouth but not in your stomach so pills would be ineffective. for basic info go to www.sagewisdom.org and read the salvia Users guide.

 

Ingesting it in a pill will have no effect.
However, smoking it is not that bad and most people ssem to prefer it since most will agree the taste is horrible.
Some seem to think smoking it is harsh, but I think it is less harsh then weed.

That's basically what you can do. You can put it in an alcohol, but I'm not sure what other form it would be in other than liquid. I don't think Salvinorin-A works properly when swallowed whole at all, but that's just my opinion.

 

It needs to either be smoked or absorbed in the mouth (Sublingual).
It will not absorb in the stomach and will only break down.

 

You need to get liquid salvia from sage wisdom. its a lil pricey but its smokeless. However the trip is not as intense from what I read.

How you can you think salvia smoke is thick and nasty?
