Indy Hippy's baby dreads and future timeline

Finally got my hair dreaded for the first time today, still real small and hot off the press. Yes I used wax for my first dreads, and yes they're pretty small. Enjoy

My wife did them for me and it was her first time doing dreads so I think she did a pretty good job considering. We used backcombing and a basic black beeswax.

 

According to your camera these pics are over a year old.

Are you planning on continuing using the beeswax?

 

Not if I can avoid it but we'll see how my hair does without it.

You'll very quickly decide that wax is more trouble that it's worth, don't let dreads be a burden!

 

Well last night my wife and I decided to redo my dreads, I got most of the wax out and we took all the rubber bands out too. Personally I think they look much better the second time around so here ya'll go.







And to give some thanks to my wife for doing a good job and being patient with me we'll include this one
