Industrial? What the hell is that? I am too busy to be going to other sites for stuff I probably dont care about, but damn, I have seen so many terms here lately. Either it is rock, country, folk, disco, heavy metal, or whatever. But what the hell is with all these new terms? Cant make proper music? Invent a new term. As far as I am concerned, these new terms arent worth my time. If you have to be classified in a new term, then yer music must be trash.
Industrial could be described as metal mixed with techno for the layman, however it's a genre known for being hard to describe at times. And as for it being new terminology it's been out for quite some time, by the way you realize terms to describe music like rock, disco or folk ect, were at one time new jargon? Does that mean that the artists who originally created them were unable to make proper music? Anyways it's not for everyone I suppose.
"Soon I discovered that this rock thing was true Jerry lee lewis was the devil Jesus was an architect previous to his career as a prophet All of a sudden, I found myself in love with the world So there was only one thing that I could do Was ding a ding dang my dang a long ling long"
I dug ministry and skinny puppy when the first came out, then they started mingling with Janes Addiction and I lost interest. They seemed to quit caring what they sounded like and took themselves way too seriously all of a sudden. idk, mebbe thats just how i saw it
