I just have to ask (and this is more for the posters of a medical bent), most cases of so-called 'indigestion' are just mild cases of food poisoning. Am I wrong? For one thing, I rarely hear of people having indigestion anymore. And sanitary practices, involving food (and other things) has improved. Again, am I wrong? (Please go straight to the hospital if you think you have a case of food poisoning, even a mild one.)
I have had food poisoning twice in the past. Both when I was in Spain. The last case I was rushed to hospital.
I got sick from sushi one time. But I've had sushi hundreds of times and only once did I get sick. The doctor said it was likely some mackerel with high levels of histamine.
