1. Are there characteristics of these types that distinguish one from the other, i.e., is there a way to look at buds and say, that's probably sativa or probably indica? 2. What is the price range in Colorado for an ounce of quality sativa? Thanks!
idk but most indica,s have smaller tighter buds, and sativa,s have longer, big buds sometimes just as tight, but not mine lol. the highs are differant. i really don,t think you could tell a differance just getting a bag.?
indica is more of a body high.. as it's much higher in CBDs than Sativa.. which is more psychoactive because of its often higherin deltra-9.. indicas are also often more mellow.. while sativas seem more "up" to me.. and also usually shoot my anxiety through the roof... i personally love an good couch locking indica than a strong sativa
It all tends to vary though. I had a 100% sativa strain recently and while I'd say it could seem a bit trippy smoking it too fast, it wouldn't make me feel anxious at all. Less anxious / more mellow if anything. Also average price for an A+ sativa is probably in the 250-300 range, but it could be anywhere from 100-400 depending on who you know. I pay 250-275 here in Ohio for any A+ strain imported from Cali / Colorado off one of my connects.
"When it comes to identifying indica and sativa buds in its dried and cured form, there is no guaranteed method to identify which family it is a part of. Indica buds do tend to be denser and darker, and sativas are usually lighter and more airy. However, this is not by any stretch an ironclad method of identifying whether the buds are indica or sativa" That is off the website, and its usually true about the darker buds being indica and the lighter ones being sativa. Usually the lighter the bud the more zippity the high. But like it said its not always true, got to smoke it to really know.
that would make sense if they were the opposites but the sativa would be more like the racecar where the indica would be the mellow hippy van.
I'm not used to the sizing on this site yet,, I've only been here for a few years. Give me time,, And anyway,,"size doesn't matter",,lol.
what's with this comma thing? just use periods like a normal person... as for the sizing thing, get on top of that, dood.
You're just a "normal" person, so you use commas,,,blah blah blah,,, Tell me something I'm interested in. My intentions and my motivation have never been hogtied to what could be considered "normal", "dood",,, I find a lot of people that would be considered "normal" in the sight of a randomly selected group of average citizens as sub-standard. Most recent presidents have been in that category. Elected by millions, yet as deceitful and manipulative as they come. I'm not a big fan of what "millions" think, nor care much for what is considered "normal". If all things were held to that standard, we'd still be in the dark ages, with "the church" telling us what to believe. I use commas the way I do, primarily because I'm a musician. Musicians get used to using "time signatures", and notation related to time. My commas are another expression of a pause, or perhaps an unfinished thought, waiting to be continued at a later time. Just because I'm more creative than you, don't rain on my parade, "dooood". YOU don't have to understand a person to be accepting of their practices, you just have to be tolerant. If it's not hurting you, why have issues?
it really is to hard to tell just by looking. unless you know the grower personally you will have no idea.
Yeah, like sentences have nothing to do with prisons,, You'll never understand anything more than you presently do, which is approximately nothing, as it stands. You're locked into your own traditions, unable to think outside the box. Release y'self, lest ye wrinkle and die prematurely, wit dat frown on yo face.
I prefer sativas and hybrids, but I get whatever's available. I think what I have right now is a hybrid, based on how it feels.
