The last I heard about the Indianapolis explosion is that they are investigating it as a murder attempt.

Part of me is saying oh yeah bring it on bitches cuz I play black ops 2 but deep down I know we are fucked cuz those drones even in a video game are scary as shit deadly. Hope those people are ok.

 

The Springfield explosion was supposedly caused by a Columbia gas worker digging without checking to see where the gas line was first.

 

Seriously? Might as well say it was swamp gas or weather ballons. People will buy it though to stay comfortable in their lives.

 

^^^ Yeah, it was in the news yesterday. He was checking for a leak and made a bigger one, or so they said. Ironically it was a strip club that blew up so I suspect there were some bible thumpers involved somehow.

 

I called the "call before you dig" people on a Thursday. She said they would send someone out Monday morning. I had already rented the auger for the weekend and had to have it back by Monday morning. I tried to explain that I had to be finished digging by then, but the lady said I was shit outa luck.

So I guessed. I dug around twenty 16" holes 3' deep. And four 4'x4' holes. The only thing I hit was the phone line, which isn't used anyway. The "call before you dig" fellow showed up Monday evening, and showed me that I came within 3 or 4 inches from hitting the gas lines in multiple places.

They really should call it, "call a few days before you dig"
