Aren't there about 500 million people living in India? Surely some of them must be in the habit of going barefoot.
Surya, how do the local people react to a westerner choosing to go barefoot ? i guess it is a bit of a rarity ???? also how do your feet compare to thiers - since many indians have had the benefit of thier whole life barefoot ?
I think "annoy" would be taking it a bit far. Just that it's a bit strange seeing the same thread reiterated regularly by someone who never joins in anyone else's discussions. It's as if Surya just turns up once a month to try and find barefooters in india on an internet message board used by barefooters primarily in the western world without bothering to take part in their discussions on other aspects of going barefoot, when really it would be easier to just get in touch with locals about it, surely!

I can feel a play nicely children coming along. Ok, can everyone calm down and leave this thread until someone wants to talk about India. Unfortunately I don't think that's going to happen by the time this thread dies. No doubt it'll get reposted some time in the not too distant future though.
